With digital offerings, we deal with constant changes in what is available, needed, produced, and how. As the intermediaries between providers and users, we frequently need to establish new balances and methods between the needs or customers and organizations. In doing so, we redefine the position and role of designers as well.
What this entails now is designing logical, instinctive, and elegant approaches to digital information in both appropriate and innovative ways. To do this well requires an interest in dealing with complexity, showing that it is a misconception to assume that something complex should be complicated.

Currently based in Austin, Texas, I’m a designer with 10 years professional experience, both in agency and in-house roles in digital product and information design. I also hold a Masters Degree in Information Design from Design Academy Eindhoven, an internationally renowned school in speculative design and research.
